Comments about 12 oz. Mouse - Volume One:
I love this show! Wasn't impressed by the first one, but it definitely grows on you the more you watch it. Buy it and demand that [adult swim] produce more episodes!
Theme song, excellent. Execution of plot, excellent. Cancellation of Mouse, SUCKS.
It's all magical and shut.
This cartoon is amazing. It is so crazy and funny that it just works.
Love this series!
It's a great price, and I was real sad to see the dvd end. But they do manage to wrap it up as impossible as it appeared. I was expecting it be entertaining as much of the Adult Swim programming is but it was funny too.
I love 12 oz. Mouse and was so happy to get the whole first season on DVD.. now just hoping for the 2nd volume!
If you like the show, you'll love this movie version of it.This is a show making fun of gangster movies, mystery, suspense, psychological and spinning alot of those genre cliches and conventions around a ridiculous nonsense plot with crudely sketched characters, and some of Matt Maiellaro's signature sauce (no, not his man-sauce) and presto, you have a show that at first glance is very offputting. Once I watched it all the way through, I was hooked. You WILL fall in love with P-Nut cop, and shark, and especially mouse. You will constantly try to make sense of the plot when it is purposefully not letting you.The show got cancelled early, as a show this unique inevitably always will, but I am glad to have the 20 or so episodes that they made, and here you can see them edited as one long movie, which makes the whole experience much better.
This show is awesome. Please make a third season!
12 Oz Mouse is a complicated, Lynchian mystery that probes the very nature of reality. It is also very funny. The design of the DVD box art is exceptional.
