I love the show! I love having the shows to watch as I please. I am disappointed that it is edited for language and because they advertised on the website that there is bonus material and there is none on the DVDs.

The journey of a thousand deaths begins with a single volume of heavy metal madness, and this first season of Metalocalypse shows that even the richest, most metal band in the world is still just as brutally flesh and blood and guts as anyone else...or are they? Too soon to tell, but enjoy these episodes all the more.

Metalocalypse should be put back on the nightly schedule!!!
I was already a huge fan of Metalocalypse, so buying the seasons were a no brainer for me. I can watch this show over and over, which is why I went to the trouble of purchasing the seasons on dvd. If you enjoy a show so much that you can watch episodes over and over, why take up any space on your dvr? Just put in the dough and buy the seasons...
Not as good as season 2 but still funny as hell.
