It's a tab book. It contains intermediate to advanced content. If you sucks at the guitars, don't buy this until your hand needn't be held. The Dethalbum 1 tab book contained a CD, this one does not, but it does have the lyrics twice! The previous book also had a humorous intro page while this one does not. Some tracks require around 8 guitars, but most of that is for fills and harmonies and such. Great purchase if you can eat this particular sandwich....

I find this tablature book to be very useful for learning thesongs. anyone with a bit of guitar experience should be able to handle most of it, but the solos will take an advanced guitarist or a LOT of practice. the only complaints i have about this very well put together book is that in some cases the structure is confusing compared to the actual order that parts come in the songs. anyone familiar with tab. books is probably used to this, however. also, it states that the guitars are tuned a two whole steps low (which i believe is true), but it uses notation of chords as if you are in standard tuning. (it will show E5 if playing a 5th on the 4th and 5th strings at the seventh fret, but in the actual tuning you are in it is really C5 in that possition. this can be confusing if you dont constantly think of the tuning you are in). it contains all guitar parts and harmonies so that if you are recording or have a few guitarists to play with you could virtually duplicate the music as heard on the albums. everything i have gotten through so far seems very accurate.

The Dethklok tablature book is by far one of the most fun and brutal ways to learn the amazing metal that Skwisgaar and Toki make. If you are into the show and love the testicle imploding metal that this band makes, then get this book.
Wanna have chicks in tight leather pants at your feet....daily! Buy this book. It's the most metal book in this world. Black storm clouds and skull faced riders with wolves for arms will trample the innocent. And that's just when you open it.
The book makes your fingers hurt. in a good way. it's harder than a lot of stuff in instruction books. very good for getting better at guitar
My only complaint is the lack of a DVD. Everything else is great.
