The fourth and final season of Sealab reaches an unprecedented level of insanity, featuring a giant hand monster, man on shark sex, a head-exploding virus and the inexplicable loss and re-acquisition of the Eric Estrada character as the crew stumbles toward its inevitable fate as ocean scientists adrift in an oceanless desert world.

Comments about Sealab 2021 - Season Four:
The end of one of the Original Four is always a hard thing, and it's especially true for Sealab 2021. While this season is by far the weakest, it manages to pull the show over the finish line and hold its arms up high. The commentary isn't so good here, though, but maybe they just ran out of ways to say...we've moved on.
The creators have straddled the line between funny and just crazy, many times, and to great effect. Earlier episodes of Sealab, Archer, and Frisky Dingo (which is very crazy, but very funny). This time, partially due to a Hesh overload, they went all crazy, and were almost never funny.I'm a completist, with the 3 previous seasons (which I enjoyed!) and I'm sorry I bought this unwatchable (in my opinion) trainwreck.
I'm helping!
I watch it along with all my other adult swim shows.

No Captain Murphy but still a solid last season. Any fan of Sealab will want it to round out the collection.
