So it seems like many celebrities never caught on, right up until the end, but you really have to feel sorry for those first few to be interviewed; I mean, how could they have known? Witness the birth of Adult Swim with this, our first show ever. You will still be surprised by its audacity, trust us.

Comments about Space Ghost Coast to Coast - Volume One:
It is just great over all.
without this show there wouldt be an [as] or an aqua teen ether it really was funny and it got ppg on the air too not as good as aqua teen but funny all the same
Before Adult Swim was even a twinkle in Lazzo's eye, Space Ghost changed things...forever. This show brought a new world to the forefront, a world where cartoon characters interview real celebrities and chaos reigns supreme. The show starts out a bit shaky, but trust me: it gets even better. Buy this set, and be a party of history.
Space Ghost is usually really funny, but these early episodes lack it.
What can be said that hasn't already been said? This show took a played-out format, the talk show, into entirely new areas for cable television. It would set the precedent for Williams Street's unique brand of rapid-fire, absurdist humor while beating YouTube to the punch by about ten years. And it got all that done on the shoe-string-iest budget this side of community theater.Space Ghost: Coast to Coast redefined comedy and entertainment for an entire generation of media-addled whipper-snappers. Be proud to bear witness to this spectacle, and hoist your Ghost Planet banners high!
The show that started my love of adult swim! Space Ghost is fantastic any fan of adult swim or comedy should own this dvd.
Going back, it's surprising how solidified the show was so early on. Old voice Zorak is still cool, but old voice Space-Ghost, not so much; I'm glad it changed fairly quickly. The interviews are all gems and though Zorak was pretty much set from the get-go, you only get a taste of the character development to come for the others. The commentary tracks are pretty interesting, too.

Relive the show's embryonic stage as it struggled -- hilariously, I might add -- to establish its place in the late-night cartoon talk show pantheon. Not quite as "out there" as it would later become, but groundbreaking all the same. Buy it, for Banjo's sake. BANJOOOOOOOOOOOO!
yup, zorak is the best. but if not for this we would not have brak
Essential viewing for it's reference in future seasons, we find this show an excellent transition into sleepy dreamtime due to the warm, comforting nature of it's lo-fi content.
