J.G. Thirlwell, the prolific musical architect behind countless children's songs and an ocean of good-time party music under monikers such as "You've Got Foetus On Your Breath" and "Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel," is also the man behind the pulse-pounding, mind-bending musical collages that are an integral part of creating the Venture feel. Now you can own a whole assload of J.G. Thirlwell on CD (20 tracks) or vinyl (16 tracks) and recreate that Venture feel in your own living room.

Comments about The Venture Bros. Album on CD:
Perfect soundtrack for the Venture Bros. Longtime Thirwell fan. The man is just a genius doing whatever genre he wants. Catches the mood of our adventurous duo.[...]
It is everything you love about the Venture Bros. music...though I wish they had that zoom-zoom-zoom song on it. Still awesome!
gets me going on my 40 minute commute to work
Makes the daily commute epically sciencetastic, but lacks some of my favorite venture music.
Pretty awesome tunes, very good score, nice to finally hear the whole things instead of snippets. My only problem is the nuclear missile style packaging. I had to take off like three stickers that left a residue I doubt even acetone would remove. Although it would eat the plastic anyways.Otherwise, though, very satisfied.
An enjoyable journey in music. Paints a great mental picture.
The music paints a picture. Enjoyable escapism.
Pure acoustic AWESOME. Listening to the Venture soundtrack is not only like reliving episode scenes, but you hear more detail than you'd notice watching it on TV or on DVD. <3
All I can say - if you are a venture brothers fanatic, buy it. You won't regret it.
1. Purposefully sought this music out because of "The Venture Brothers" cartoon... didn't know his other concurrent/prior works.2. Has had great appeal with music chums.3. Many tracks means a generous range of treatments.4. Is in my active music rotation.
