J.G. Thirlwell, the prolific musical architect behind countless children's songs and an ocean of good-time party music under monikers such as "You've Got Foetus On Your Breath" and "Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel," is also the man behind the pulse-pounding, mind-bending musical collages that are an integral part of creating the Venture feel. Now you can own a whole assload of J.G. Thirlwell on CD (20 tracks) or vinyl (16 tracks) and recreate that Venture feel in your own living room.

Comments about The Venture Bros. Album on CD:
Avid Venture watchers will recognize more than their fair share of these fantastic tracks from actual Venture Bros. episodes. If you're both a nerd in the world of cartoons and music, then this is the album for you.
The world of super-science, magic, villainy, and what-not is all in your ear-holes with this seminal release! I've never listened to J.G. Thirwell before, but now I may indulge in his music. There's just something so special to this album...that it's an ad-VENTURE.
I've been a fan of J Thirwell since 1984 and I was blown away when I realized it was he who was scoring The Venture Bros cartoons. Absolute brilliant musician, for an absolute brilliant cartoon TV series. Love the music!!! -MH
great cd, [...]
this is a really great cd. something to get you pumped for the day.
It's a great album, there just wasn't enough room for everything and unfortunately for me, some of my favorite bits didn't make the final cut.Specifically, the zoom zoom zoom zoom zoom zoom zoom zoom bit that is the menu back ground music for the second season (?) DVD.But very innovative and interesting music
If you love the show, you'll love this soundtrack! I bought this as a gift for my husband and we both love it. Our teenage daughter (who doesn't even watch the show much) also loves it. Highly recommended!
I dare you not to get excited listening to this music!
I've been collecting great soundtrack music from my favorite TV shows and movies for many years and Thirlwell's Venture Brothers soundtrack is simply one of the most exciting and original scores I've heard in a long time. It blows away anything you'll hear on the radio these days. I can hear influences in Thirlwell's music of some of my favorite older soundtrack composers like Ennio Morricone's music for Leone films and John Barry's music for the great early Bond films, yet Thirlwell adds his own unique twist and he has plenty of terrific and exciting ideas of his own to offer as well. Though the Venture Bros. is a satirical action show, the soundtrack belies that with some of the most convincing and sincere action music ever. This CD soundtrack album is worth every penny so buy one now before it goes out of print, every action music soundtrack collector will want to own a copy of this one.
Wish this hard more tracks or more soundtracks were coming out. Has limited tracks but makes sense if this is the only soundtrack. [...]
